THE ANNUAL KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIPS WILL ONCE AGAIN BE HELD IN RED LAKE FALLS AT THE HIGH SCHOOL GYM ON SUNDAY JANUARY 18, 2026 AT 1:00. THE DOORS WILL OPEN AT 12:30 AND THE PARTICIPANTS MAY COME AND PRACTICE AT THAT TIME IF THEY WOULD LIKE. THE CONTEST IS OPEN TO BOYS AGES 9-14 AND GIRLS AGES 9-14. A PARTICIPANT MAY ONLY TAKE PART IN ONE LOCAL EVENT PER YEAR. WINNERS WILL RECEIVE A TROPHY AND WILL ADVANCE TO THE DISTRICT LEVEL IN RED LAKE FALLS ON SUNDAY FEBRUARY 8. WINNERS AT DISTRICT ADVANCE TO THE REGIONAL, AND REGIONAL WINNERS ADVANCE TO STATE AND INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION.

SNOWMOBILE SAFETY CLASS sponsored by Plummer Snowmobile Club on Saturday, January 24th 8:30am – approx. 11:30am at the Plummer Fire Department. You must be 11-years-old at the time of the training and complete the online portion prior to class at https://www.snowmobilecourse.com/usa/minnesota/ To register after online course is complete or for more information, text or call Brandon Vogel at 218-684-5163. Bring riding gear and completion certificate to the class, and parent/guardian must be present at the start of the class to fill out registration paperwork.
YEARBOOK SALES Order your 25-26 Yearbook for $67.33 until June 30th when orders close. These yearbooks have some printing errors, but if you would still like to buy one, they are $25 and you can pay in either school office.
