Red Lake County Central High School is a smaller, family-like rural school that offers big-time education for students.  RLCC H.S. is a 1-1 high school featuring Google Classroom. We have the largest Online College in the High School programs in northwest Minnesota where students can graduate with their Associate Arts degree at the same time as graduating high school. 1 in 3 seniors graduate high school with their 2-year AA degree already in hand. We offer 20 different educational, fine arts, or athletic extracurricular activities and proudly claim that 7 of 10 students are involved in one or more extra-curricular activities. Our teachers and staff are invested in the whole student as demonstrated by our Advisory groups, (1 teacher per 9-10 students) that meet weekly to cover a variety of educational and social-emotional curricular topics. RLCC H.S. prides itself in meeting the needs of all graduates, properly preparing them for any post-secondary or work related opportunity.

The creation of the RLCC Hall of Fame is to honor individuals and teams as Plummer
Cardinals, Oklee Bobcats, and RLCC Mustangs and Rebels. We are grateful to alumni Jody Duden, Tony Gerardy, Shannon Lambert, John Larson, Jill Chervestad and Isaac Melby who comprise the first ever selection committee. Please click this link to see the RLCC HOF By-laws.

Pass this information on to any RLCC alumni, family or friends. Anyone can nominate. Selections will be made by April 30, 2026. The 1st ever RLCC Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be held in late September/early October of 2026.

The creation of an RLCC Hall of Fame is in conjunction with the design of the west hallway adjacent to the new gym. The design includes new trophy cases, a digital touchscreen with a history of RLCC achievements, yearbooks, and activities, a mural history of RLCC schools and the newly created RLCC Hall of Fame.

Red Lake County Central Elementary is located in Plummer, MN, an agricultural community located 15 miles south of Thief River Falls, MN. We are a Preschool-6th grade two section school, with low student to teacher ratios, and we provide a safe and caring environment focusing on both the academic and social-emotional needs of ALL students. Our school provides a 1:1 Google Chromebook experience for students in 4th-6th grade. This allows students and teachers the opportunity to interact not only within the academic curriculums but also to prepare students to be responsible citizens within the expanding global world. RLCC Elementary staff ensures that each student’s education is differentiated to meet their individual needs, which is the premise behind our motto: “Working and Learning Together to Build a Successful Future.
