STUDENT NEWS

 

CHOIR CONCERT is tonight at 7:30, all are welcome. Choir students meet in the gym for practice today 5th hour. For the concert tonight meet in the music room at 7:00 wearing your choir shirt, black pants and tennis shoes

SENIORS should have a plain white t-shirt and blue jeans for the class photo on Friday, and you need to bring any props you want to use for the senior superlative photos.

STUDENT SENATE (EXECUTIVE BOARD) applications can be picked up in the office or from Mr. Huie for the 25-26 school year. To be a candidate for RLCC H.S. Student Senate Executive Board you must be an upcoming Sophomore, Junior, or Senior and have served at least one year in Student Senate or as a Class Officer. Return forms to Mr. Huie by Monday, May 12

STUDENT SENATE (SENATOR) applications can be picked up in the office or from Mr. Huie for the 25-26 school year and returned to Mr. Huie by Monday, May 12

GIRLS BASKETBALL MEETING for grades 7-11 at 8:30am on Tuesday, May 13th in Mr. Sjulestad’s room

 

FALL FOOTBALL MEETING on Thursday, May 15th for 7-11th grade in the library at 8:30

 

HELP WANTED students in 9th grade or above interested in working with children for Summer Rec can pick up an application in the office and turn it in to Mrs. Tougas by May 15th.

 

PACESETTER VOLLEYBALL CAMP RLCC High School will be hosting a 2-day Pacesetter Volleyball Camp, July 23rd & 24th! The camp will be for volleyball players entering 6th-12th grade next fall. Register by May 15th to receive a free shirt! Register at https://www.pacesettersports.net/mn-vball-camps/

 

CONGRATULATIONS to our Envirothon team (Graceyn, Natalee H, Gavin R, Benji and Jackson) who placed 2nd on Wednesday and will advance to the state competition on May 19th!

 

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED Plummer Lions Too are looking for volunteers to help with their annual ditch cleaning along highway 59 on Monday, May 19th at 6pm. Pizza and pop will be provided after, contact Nicole at 218-686-3286 if you can help

GIRLS STATE & BOYS STATE is a week-long program for Juniors for no cost to the student or their family. Girls State will be held at Bethel University June 15-21, 2025 and Boys State will be held June 8-14, 2025 at St. John’s University. Stop in the office for more info, or visit with Mr. Huie or Mr. Pederson if you are interested!

 

LUNCH ACCOUNTS All students will be served meals each day. NOTE: Students who get seconds need to have money in their account. If you are purchasing only milk or juice (not a qualifying meal), or if you take an additional milk or juice or get seconds you may be refused when your account is not in good standing.
